Incandescent lamps are the most familiar type of light source with countless applications. Available in all shapes and sizes, they offer flexibility and versatility with no need for electronic starting and control systems.
Tungsten Halogen lamps provide a compact, high output, crisp white light that delivers superior colour reproduction. They are more efficient than incandescent lamps giving more light for less energy and from a smaller physical size. They are popular for accent, display and general lighting applications in a wide variety of commercial, industrial and residential environments.
Compact fluorescent lamps match the shape, size and light distribution of standard incandescent lamps but give the long-life and energy saving characteristics of a fluorescent tube. Whilst saving on energy and maintenance costs, you will lose nothing in quality. Colours are reproduced accurately and flicker free light output is maintained for the whole of the lamp’s

Fluorescent tubes give a more diffused light and this, together with their high energy efficiency, makes them ideal for large, open areas such as offices, commercial, industrial and public buildings. Available in both standard halophosphate and energy saving triphosphor they are offered in a range of white colours from warm to cool and even daylight.
High Intensity Discharge Lamps split into 5 categories. Ceramic Metal Halide Lamps provide a high level of light uniformity from lamp to lamp over their lifetime, they are ideal for colour critical areas. Metal Halide lamps offer excellent energy efficiency, crisp, white light and excellent colour reproduction. High Pressure Sodium SON lamps are ideally suited where long-term economy rather than accurate colour reproduction is required – they produce a warm yellow colour. Mercury lamps are highly reliable, although not as energy efficient or colour accurate as other HID lamps.
They require simpler starting and operating technology which offers significant savings on installation and maintenance. Low Pressure Sodium SOX are extremely efficient for application where economical operation over long periods is critical. |
