Light duty for use with XLPE/PVC SWA cables where it is essential to produce an IP66 seal onto the outer sheath. Brass indoor and outdoor cable gland suitable for all types of steel wire armoured cable (SWA), providing an environmental seal on the outer cable sheath. The gland provides mechanical cable retention and earth continuity via armour wire termination. The gland features two piece handling, no loose parts & freely rotating captive cone, providing an armour clamp and earth bond without twisting the steel wire armouring. Seals on the cable sheath, to IP66 if fitted with a sealing gasket. Gland Kit supplied with 2 x glands, 2 x shrouds, 2 x locknuts & 2 x earth tags. Standard : BS6121 : Part 1. Ingress Protection : IP66. |
